Matt Wiles


Based in Cincinnati, OH, Matt Wiles is an in-demand acoustic, electric, and synth bassist performing throughout the United States.


Matt has performed with bands of all styles around the midwest region and beyond: Theaters such as the Aronoff Center, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati, and on large festival stages such as the Columbus Jazz and Ribs Fest.


His regional club appearances include dates at The Blue Wisp Jazz Club, The Greenwich, Schwartz's Point, Caffe Vivace, Dick's Den, Natalie's, Filament, BluJazz+, The Bop Stop, Jimmy Can't Dance, Rudy's Jazz Room, An Die Muzik, Shrine, and Bar Next Door at

La Lanterna di Vittorio.


Matt can be heard on stage with guitarist/composer Brandon Coleman's Fourth Kind, jazz/rock/fusion band Spherical Agenda, renowned saxophonist/pianist Randy Villars, and many others.  His playing is featured on many singles, albums, and videos, as well as soon to be released albums by Spherical Agenda, Fourth Kind, and Sam Blakeslee.  Matt has performed with highly acclaimed artists such as Snarky Horns, Gary Versace, Colin Stranahan, Noah Preminger, Joel Frahm, JD Allen, Fareed Haque, Peter Mazza, Dan Wilson, Teddy Kumpel, Glenn Zaleski, Victor Provost, Bobby Selvaggio, Sam Blakeslee, and The Drifters.
